The 10 most important college basketball programs in the country, according to a survey released by the USA Today Coaches Association.
The survey also shows a number of high-profile teams are making moves this summer.
Boston College (No. 2): No. 2 in the USA TODAY Coaches Associations top 25 rankings for the 2019-2020 season, with two wins in conference play and a pair of road wins.
The Eagles have lost three straight and three of their last four games.
Boston, ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll, is headed to its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1984, when the Eagles made it to the Final Four.
Virginia Tech (No, 4): The Hokies are in the top 10 of the USA NOW Coaches association coaches rankings for all of 2019-20, including a No. 3 ranking in the coaches poll.
The Hokys have lost seven straight and have been without an NCAA Tournament berth since their last appearance in the 2017-2018 season.
Miami (No., 6): The Hurricanes have won six of their past seven games and are in a tight race for the final spot in the ACC Coastal Division.
Miami is ranked No and is in the midst of a national search for its next coach.
Texas Tech ( No. 9): The Red Raiders have made a run in the NCAA Tournament and are currently second in the conference standings.
The Red Shirts are currently the only undefeated team in the nation and have won two in a row.
Arizona State (No 20): The Sun Devils are currently ranked No 11 in the Associated Press Top 25 and are riding a six-game winning streak.
Michigan State ( No 20): Michigan State is currently in the No. 20 spot in ESPN.com’s Power Rankings and is heading into the postseason with the Big Ten West title on the line.
The Spartans are on a four-game win streak and are expected to reach the Final Eight.
UCLA (No 22): The Bruins are still trying to find their footing after losing their opener against Iowa State and losing to Kentucky in the Big Dance.
They are currently No. 17 in the poll and have three games left in the regular season.
Virginia (No 23): The Cavaliers are currently at No. 21 in the latest USA TODAY coaches poll and are ranked No 10 in the college basketball media poll.
Notre Dame (No 25): The Fighting Irish have won their last three games, including their first road win in four years, to end their NCAA Tournament drought.
The Fighting Eagles are currently one win away from their second consecutive NCAA Tournament bid.
Florida State (Yes, 33): The Seminoles are in third place in the preseason AP poll and one win ahead of Florida, who has two games left.
